Prince Sattam Bin Abdul Aziz University has joined the 2021 U-Multirank University U-Multirank rankings of only six Saudi universities funded by the European Commission. This classification is a unique and distinct classification and depends on comparing the performance of universities - in the five dimensions of university activity:
(1) Teaching and learning, (2) research, (3) knowledge transfer, (4) international orientation (5) regional link
Because of the U Multi Rank rating, it is intended for students looking for a special place to study, their parents, those interested in higher education and educational policy makers.
The classification allows comparisons to be made at the university level as a whole and at the level of specific study programmes,
U-Multirank is an independent classification developed with initial funding from the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission. An advisory board oversees the work of the U-Multirank Federation, so this classification does not rely on regressive classification tables for university performance but provides a comprehensive comparison of institutional performance that shows specific strengths, university profiles and excellence points, including 1,948 universities from 97 countries around the world.
The U-Multirank sunburst sunburst provides a quick overview of performance institutions across all indicators, colors that distinguish different dimensions; each bar represents a single indicator. The length of the tape indicates the level of performance; Joining this classification provides data for international students and citizens wishing to join the university as it demonstrates the strengths of the university compared to its local and international counterparts, noting that the university will also join the classification at the level of academic programs, where the department of classification and excellence of the university agency for development and quality provides data to the classification bodies annually in cooperation with the various university departments.
The classification is issued by the European Commission in collaboration with the Centre for Higher Education (CHE) in Germany, the Centre for Higher Education Policy Studies (CHEPS) at the University of Twente and the Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) from Leiden University, in the Netherlands, as well as the Knowledge and Development Foundation (Fundación CYD) in Spain.
