The World University Classification is an important indicator of the university's outstanding level in measuring the degree of success in achieving the goal, which helps the decision maker in planning and evaluation by strengthening strengths and improving shortcomings in university performance.
Based on the kingdom's vision 2030, which aims to promote Saudi universities and improve their outputs and classification globally, and to become at least five of the best (200) international universities by 2030, His Excellency the Rector formed the Standing Committee for Classification management and excellence headed by H.E. Dr. Nasser bin Saad Al Qahtani, Vice President of the University for Development and Quality, to achieve the following goals:
1. Adoption of plans to improve the university's classification
2. Adopting the composition of the Executive Committee for Classification and Excellence
3. Discussion and adoption of performance reports for the Executive Committee
4. Provide advice and advice to decision makers at the university
5. Study the topics referred to the committee from his Excellency the Rector
6. Regular reports to the Rector's Excellency on the work of the Committee
