It is a steering committee for international academic accreditation at the level of colleges/programs, contributes with college agencies for development and quality to obtain international academic accreditation of the college and its academic programs, and the required provision of all the requirements of international accreditation standards, and this committee also plays an important and pivotal role by providing technical, advisory and advisory support to colleges/programs in their quest for international academic accreditation.
Objectives and functions of the Standing Committee for External Accreditation:
1- Establishing a culture of international academic accreditation at the level of colleges/programs.
2- Supervising the development and cooperative plans between colleges and academic programs at the university level.
3-Follow-up preparations for departments and programmes to obtain international academic credits.
4-Supervising assistance in providing evidence on international academic accreditation standards in coordination with the Deanship of Development and Quality and the Statistical Information Centre.
5- Follow-up on the adequacy of the facilities and equipment needed to obtain international accreditation for academic programmes.
6- Supervising the assistance of academic programmes in the preparation and implementation of improvement plans based on the proposed recommendations of the reviewers' reports.
7- Providing the necessary facilities and assisting colleges/programs with regard to international academic accreditation.
8- Supporting and supporting efforts to achieve international academic accreditation and cooperation with the relevant authorities of the university.
